My story is typical. Been active and fit my whole life and then as I starting spending time and energy on my career, after university, I started slowly gaining weight. I started working out with Jesse at 164 lbs. Over 5 years, I'd been on a roller coaster: -5, +5, -3, +6, +3, +4. But, this last year, my weight kept only going up. Since I started working out with Jesse, I have lost 20 pounds! This has been with only 3 months of training, 3 times a week. I used to think, "I can never lose weight - it works for everyone else but me". Much to my surprise (but not Jesse's because he knew all along), the weight came off. His nutritional guidance with the Metabolic Method, combined with great training and coaching skills, have helped me get to where I am today. And the best part is that I'm still doing it and no more weight swings. My favourite thing about the diet is there are NO GIMMICKS! It's refreshing to not have to buy a certain brand of food, pills or supplements. Changing my diet and saying goodbye to those daily fries was hard, at first, but Jesse has kept me accountable. Thirty-minute workouts are so easy to fit into my schedule - even after a 12-hour shift at the hospital. He kicked my butt, and I'm so glad for it. Honestly, if I can do this, ANYONE can do it. Jesse came highly recommended through a friend of mine and we started training in June, 2010. My biggest obstacle was losing those last 10 lbs. - getting back to pre-pregnancy weight. The embarrassing part - that was 11 years ago; meaning I couldn't even shed 1 lb. a year. Then Jesse came along! The first month was a killer, with 5 hours of weekly training, a daily intake of 1200 calories, and keeping a food journal. But the upside was developing good eating habits! My last 10 lbs. finally came off after almost 4 months. His training has given me a better understanding of my body, "tricking" it with his three-phase Metabolic diet, building muscle which helps burn fat even while watching TV, and incorporating simple daily lifestyle activities, such as walking. It's been an incredible journey of weight loss. I'm now 112 lbs., looking lean and working to achieve six-pack abs.

Jesse motivates me to work harder than I ever thought possible. I was feeling very sluggish lately and noticed that I was carrying a few extra pounds. Going into my busy season at work, I knew I had to do something about this to make sure I stayed efficient and competitive. After, listening to Jesse’s 10 minute presentation I decided I would try his Fitin30 program. Now, I have never enjoyed being in a gym and typically got my exercise from team sports and outdoor activities. But Jesse’s program seemed to fit my busy schedule. At some point during last season's deep Canuck playoff run, I was confronting a cruel reality. The vast majority of my clothes were no longer fitting, or certainly were not fitting comfortably. This was a direct result of the lengthiest period of inactivity in my life, no longer playing hockey or exercising at the gym as i had in years past. Combine that with a steady game diet of pizza, pub food, and beverages and I knew i was in the worst shape of my life. The scale confirmed this for me I'm mid-May, when i stepped on for the first time in a long time - 206 pounds. I was shocked. It was time for a change, and Jesse Benson's Fit in 30 was the solution.

Two and a half months ago I started Jesse's program and I didn't know what to expect. You know, we've all been there: going to the gym once a week and being on that roller-coaster: lose a pound and then gain 5 back... But from day one, this felt different.
